COTTON

1. Read the care label on the cotton item to determine the recommended washing and drying instructions. 

2. Separate white and colored cotton items before washing to prevent color bleeding. 

3. Wash cotton items in cold or warm water with a mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners as they can damage the fibers. 

4. For tough stains, pre-treat the area with a stain remover or a mixture of water and white vinegar before washing. 

5. Tumble dry cotton items on a low or medium heat setting. Remove them from the dryer promptly to prevent wrinkles and shrinkage. 

6. If you prefer to air dry cotton items, hang them on a clothesline or drying rack in a well-ventilated area. 

7. Iron cotton items on a medium to high heat setting while they are still slightly damp to remove wrinkles. 

8. Store cotton items in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight or moisture.
